Yes, I’m Trying The Kardashian Diet…

Good Morning Beautiful People!

How are you today? As the title suggests I am trying another crazy diet. Normally I would share a story with you followed by a yummy recipe. But, as I was curled up this weekend I was thinking about swimsuit season that is just around the corner. Now, I’ve never been one to get worked up about putting on a swimsuit. Yeeeah, I’m not the type to prance around in a bikini for all of the world to see. No thanks, I’ll pass. However, like many out there I am guilty of following celebrity gossip stories and oogling over their near-perfect bodies. Including… The Kardashian’s. Now let me just say: No, I don’t watch “Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s” on TV. Yes, I have seen the show (and lost a couple of IQ points doing so). So why the heck am I following their dieting advice? Um… have you seem their booties?


If I can have even 1/10th of a butt like Kim I’d be happy. πŸ˜‰ But anyway, let’s get down to the diet basics. Obviously the Kardashian’s have private chef’s and a whole team of people to pamper them through every diet cycle, and those are things I just don’t have. So for me, this will be much more difficult. However, I’m determined to lose a little weight and give their diet plan a try!

Here are the basic rules:Β 

  • No Gluten
  • No Dairy
  • High Vegetable
  • High Protein
  • Low Carbohydrates
  • No Caffeine
  • No Sugar
  • No Alcohol
  • Lots of Water
  • Low Salt

The Kardashian’s also have their portions measured and tailored to make sure they aren’t eating too many calories, yet are eating enough to fuel their bodies properly. This week I’ll be taking extra care to watch my caloric intake and recording everything as much as I can. You will see three pictures of “what I eat in a day” as well as my thoughts! Wish me luck guys! 7 days on the Kardashian Diet! Here we go….
